W.Pa. mom pleads guilty in plot to impregnate girl

UNIONTOWN, Pa. — A western Pennsylvania woman accused of conspiring with her boyfriend to drug her 13-year-old daughter so he could try to impregnate her has pleaded guilty in a deal with prosecutors.

The 34-year-old Uniontown woman was slated for trial Monday in Fayette County Court of Common Pleas. But she pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and unauthorized administration of intoxicants.

Police say the mother can’t have more children and asked her daughter to carry her boyfriend’s child but the daughter refused.

The girl says she was given alcohol and sleeping pills mixed in tea and soda and the man tried to assault her but she awoke and fought him off.

The mother’s boyfriend, 42-year-old Dewayne Calloway, is scheduled for trial next month on charges including attempted rape. His attorney says he’s innocent.
