Angela Dodson Gray Arrested On Meth Charges

HODGES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a couple in connection with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. As per media reports, 45-year-old James Edward Gray and 42-year-old Angela Dodson Gray have been charged by the department with 1st Degree attempted manufacturing of Controlled substance like meth. Apart from it, James Edward Gray has also been charged with attempting to elude the law enforcement officials and theft of property reportedly.

Angela Dodson Gray was arrested by the Franklin County Sheriff on Tuesday while she was leaving a shop in Russellville. Chemicals needed for the manufacturing of meth were found in possession of Angela Dodson Gray. When arrested, Angela Dodson Gray confessed that the chemicals were purchased for the production of the controlled substance that she and her husband manufacture it at home. Angela Dodson Gray reportedly guided the law enforcement officials to her Hodges apartment. On her arrival at the apartment, she told the police that her husband has stolen a 2008 Honda four-wheeler and had fled with many items.

However, while the authorities were searching the residence of Angela Dodson Gray, James Edward Gray was noticed by the highway patrol on Highway 172 in his stolen car. The Deputies chased the car and were able to get hold of him after a chase of around 1/4 mile. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has maintained that at the time of James Edward Gray’s arrest, several bags of chemicals necessary for the manufacturing of methamphetamine was found in the car. The authorities have claimed that further investigations against Angela Dodson Gray and James Edward Gray will be carried out. There are likely chances that more undiscovered crimes committed by the two will surface in the coming weeks.
